Monthly meeting for our Women on Missions is the first Sunday of every month at 6:00 P.M.
Watchword: "Walk worthy with the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God" (Col. 1:10 NKJV).
Since its beginning in 1888, WMU has become the largest Protestant missions organization for women in the world, with a membership of approximately 1 million. WMU's main purpose is to educate and involve adults, youth, children, and preschoolers in the cause of Christian missions. Although originally geared towards women, girls, and preschoolers, both genders are active participants in WMU organizations and ministries today. WMU also was the first and remains the largest body of organized laity in the Southern Baptist Convention.
