Men’s Ministries An “On Mission” Lifestyle Our Partnership With You

PURPOSE

Men’s Ministries Purpose is to assist the living partnership of churches within the Georgia Baptist Convention in the fulfillment of the Great Commandment and Great Commission by seeking to involve men and boys in missions through education and personal involvement, so that everyone everywhere will have an opportunity to know Jesus. Our Objective in fulfilling that purpose is to empower men and boys for Kingdom Service through development and deployment for missions and ministries as Acts 1:8 Christians. Our Strategy to reach that objective is to motivate men and boys to see their God-given potential for leadership through on-going lifestyle actions that live out their leadership for missions and ministry. We strive to be:

• Based Upon the Bible — to involve men and boys in missions that will lead those involved to understand the biblical basis of missions.
• Committed to Missions — to involve men and boys in missions that will assist in their commitment to missions.
• Compelled by Cooperation — to involve men and boys in missions that will assist in the process of continued cooperation among all Georgia Baptist churches.
• Driven by Evangelism — to involve men and boys in missions that will increase the opportunity to share the Gospel so that persons will come to know Jesus as Savior.
• Engaged in Christian Education — to involve men and boys in missions that will enhance the furtherance of Christian and mission’s education in the local church.
• Focused on Church Growth — to involve men and boys in missions that will lead the local church to reach out to persons locally and globally to create numerical and spiritual growth.

VISION STATEMENT

Create an environment in which men and boys will sense and respond to God’s call for salvation and service, and honor the Great Commission and Commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ through their churches and personal lives through missions and ministries.

STRATEGY STATEMENT
